JN Carlo’s Impressive New Headquarters

A new era awaits JN Carlo Pharmaceuticals as the one-year anniversary for its recently built headquarters nears. Over the course of that one year, the company was able to achieve many things such as awarding three of our agents with brand new cars and signing on several high-profile clients. This is all thanks to the comfort and ease that our new and improved headquarters brings to the entire JN Carlo team, allowing us to attend to clients with faster and better quality of service.

We are truly blessed to have this opportunity. That being said, the next few months will be critical for us as the BER months arrive with a whole new set of challenges. Thankfully, the new JN Carlo headquarters is fully equipped with high-tech offices, a fully-stocked warehouse which boasts of an impressive inventory, and a spacious conference room.

Our Newly Appointed Finance Head Graduates Magna Cum Laude From DLSU!

The date of one’s own graduation is held special because of its significance in the start of their professional life.

On February 18th of this year, our Finance Head, Joacquin Navales, graduated with the honorary title, Magna Cum Laude, from De La Salle University Manila. He majored in Management of Financial Institutions and exhibited exemplary abilities throughout his academic years, championing several case competitions and serving as Vice President for Client Acquisitions in De La Salle University Archer’s Consulting Group, all while remaining a consistent Dean’s Lister and managing his own freelance career in social media and game modification.

All things considered, Joacquin is not a stranger to professional life. He has worked with the company for the past 4 years, interning in the Finance department. Today, he is our Finance Head who oversees accounting and warehouse operations. Joacquin has proven himself to not only be a highly qualified candidate, but also a reliable member of the company.

JN Carlo Building Groundbreaking

On January 31, 2022, the groundbreaking of the new JN Carlo Pharmaceuticals building commenced, steering the company toward a brighter future. During this time, the core team gathered at the site to celebrate and meet the team behind the project. The ceremony began with CEO Jonathan Navales using the ceremonial shovel to initiate the construction, and ended with a catholic blessing of the property. 

Construction is currently ongoing, and the second floor is nearing completion. The building is set to finish in the last quarter of the year. The project is being headed by GCube Design + Build Inc., who has been handling both the architectural and engineering aspects of it during its entirety.

CEO Jonathan Navales explained that they had been planning the project since mid-2021 in order to allow them to achieve greater heights, especially amidst the pandemic. The new building will have greater accommodation for inventory, staff, and clients which Jonathan also explained will be vital for the company in the following months as they continue to grow.

Immune System Booster

The immune system is the last part of your body that you’d want to neglect during a pandemic. But it is important to note that immune systems are like computers—they are incredibly smart and can do wonders, though not without the help of humans. Taking vitamins is essential to help it do its job better. And we know just what you need.

Vitamin C is one of the most common vitamins taken to boost immune systems. Nevertheless, it is truly effective. It is an antioxidant which means that it protects your cells against free radicals (a factor in heart diseases, cancer, etc.) and allows for healthier ageing. Although it can’t prevent colds, it can shorten cold duration by 14% in children and 8% in adults. 

The recommended dosage for Vitamin C is once a day. 

Zinc’s role in the immune system is closely similar to Vitamin C. It is also an antioxidant so it offers the same perks. Zinc is responsible for the catalytic activity of 100+ enzymes. These enzymes are then responsible for genetic material synthesis, cell integration maintenance, and most importantly, the adequate functioning of the immune system. Popular uses for it are for treating infections, skin irritations, acne, ulcers, anemia, ADHD, etc. It is also known to reduce cold duration and upper respiratory infections in children.

Like Vitamin C, it is also taken daily.

Vitamin D is known for its role in bone health, but it also regulates immune system proteins. These anti-microbial proteins have anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and anti-fungal properties. It is similar to Zinc in the sense that Vitamin D deficiency is associated with increased susceptibility to respiratory infections such as Tuberculosis, Influenza, Bacterial Vaginosis, etc. 

It is recommended to take Vitamin D either daily or weekly.
